Helen Goltz

Helen is a writer of crime, thrillers, historical novels and non-fiction.

Her first book for Clan Destine Press is the sexy and amusing crime novel Death by Sugar.

It's a spunky modern mystery, with lots of unexpected twists.

Helen, like all good writers, has always been an avid reader. While growing up in Toowoomba, she was always excited by a trip to the library and the promise of returning home with a collection of books to read.

Now, Brisbane-based and all grown up with Postgraduate qualifications in Communications and a major in Literature, Helen is still excited by the written word and trips to the library.

Helen has tried her hand at crime and thrillers – Death by Sugar, Mastermind, Three Parts Truth; historical drama – Autumn Manor; non-fiction – No Picnic at Hanging Rock; and factional memoir – From High Heels to Handcuffs.

Aside from writing books, Helen is a journalist who worked on community newspapers, produced radio for the Fairfax network and television for the Seven Network, and marketed for News Ltd. She also lectures in communications.
